TheWAHMmagazine internship is an un-paid internship, however academic credit is available and we will provide the necessary information/documentation required by your academic institution to prove that you are an intern and have completed the internship.

Internships will run for a minimum of six months (or one semester depending upon institutional requirements). Interns will need to be available a minimum of 15 hours per week, and be required to attend editorial meetings (held on the second Monday of every month) in our on-line VOIP conference room. There may be the opportunity to provide editorial content based upon proficiency and writing experience on the blog and in the magazine. Interns will be listed on the masthead of the magazines for the issues in which they are interns. Interns may be asked to stay longer if mutually agreed upon by editorial staff and the intern.

This is a telecommuting position. Those selected for internship candidacy will also be asked to have a short telephone interview. We may also ask for additional supporting materials such as a résumé/c.v., references and proof of matriculation if you are a student.
