1. Why Is theWAHMmagazine only available on-line?
A: Simply
put, we wanted an eco-solution for the magazine. By going digital, it
means we reduce paper and ink use along with the clutter in your
mailbox and on your kitchen table. And, if you're like us, you're
probably on-line already anyway, not only for work, but for some of
your down-time as well. We also kind of like trees and don’t
think that
any more need to be killed when we can deliver the
same content in an interactive electronic media environment.
But please note, we are neither an online edition nor an
e-zine, theWAHMmagazine is a digital edition and we're dedicated to
validating, empowering, encouraging, educating and supporting
work-at-home parents.

2. How does this digital magazine work?
A: Once
a new issue is produced (every other month for a total of six issues
per year) it will be placed on the subscriber site at
www.thewahmmagazine.net. Subscribers will log in with their
username/password combination and will be able to read the magazine.
There are no readers or software to download, and once the issue is
available, it is there, on the site, for subscribers to read at their
leisure. The digital magazine functions just like a print magazine -- the
pages turn, you can jump to specific articles or pages, or flip through
the magazine one page at a time. Only subscribers have full access to
the magazine and its archives. In addition to magazine access,
subscribers get additional perks such as Webinars and podcasts, special
offers, promotions and more.

3. Why is
it WAHM and not WAHP (work-at-home-parent)?
A: In
today's language, the term "WAHM" (work-at-home-mom)
has caught on, so we are irreverently capitalizing
on it while also bringing you good, relevant
content that is geared for any work-at-home parent. Even though the
name suggests "mom" it's our tag line (the complete on-line magazine
for work-at-home
parents) that explains it all — we're about work-at-home parents.
